Effective Date: 27 August 2026

2. Products
We primarily supply pre-owned, recycled and replacement vehicle parts.
As many of our products are removed from previously used vehicles, they may show reasonable signs of previous use, including marks, scratches, discolouration or cosmetic wear.
We take reasonable care to describe our products accurately. Where reasonably possible, parts are checked and tested for working condition before being offered for sale.
Product photographs are provided to help customers identify the item being offered. The appearance or colour of a product may vary slightly due to lighting, photography or screen settings.
3. Part Compatibility
Customers are responsible for checking that a part is suitable for their vehicle before purchasing or fitting it.
We may request information including:
Vehicle registration number
VIN or chassis number
OEM or manufacturer part number
Engine code
Vehicle make, model and year
Where we assist with identifying or checking a part, our assistance is based on the information supplied by the customer.
Customers should check relevant part numbers, specifications, connectors, dimensions and other compatibility information before installation.
If you are unsure whether a part is suitable for your vehicle, please contact us before ordering.
4. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
As many parts are individually sourced from dismantled vehicles, stock may be limited to a single unit.
If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you and, where appropriate, offer an alternative or arrange a refund.
We reserve the right to withdraw or discontinue products from sale.
5. Pricing
All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP).
Where VAT is applicable, it will be handled in accordance with applicable UK tax requirements and shown where appropriate.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed or communicated during the ordering process.
We may change our prices from time to time. Price changes will not normally affect orders that have already been accepted.
If an obvious pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to correct the error or cancel the affected order. Where payment has already been taken for a cancelled order, the appropriate refund will be processed.
6. Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product from us.
Receiving an automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
We may refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
A product is unavailable
There is an obvious pricing or description error
Payment cannot be authorised
We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity
Delivery cannot reasonably be completed to the address supplied
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the appropriate refund will be processed.
7. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods accepted by us.
Online card payments may be processed securely by third-party payment service providers.
We do not necessarily receive or store complete payment card details.
An order may be held or cancelled where payment is declined, reversed or cannot be verified.
8. Delivery
We deliver to eligible UK addresses using our own delivery arrangements or third-party courier services.
Delivery charges and available delivery options may depend on the delivery location and the size, weight and type of product.
Any delivery date or timeframe provided is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise.
We will take reasonable steps to dispatch orders promptly. Delivery may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, severe weather, transport disruption or public holidays.
9. Large & Heavy Parts
Some vehicle components, including engines, gearboxes, body panels and other large or heavy parts, may require pallet or specialist delivery.
Customers should ensure that someone is available to accept delivery where required.
Additional delivery arrangements or charges may apply to oversized or unusually heavy products. Where applicable, these will be communicated during the ordering process.
10. Checking Your Delivery
Customers should inspect their order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If a parcel or product appears to have been damaged during transport, please contact us promptly.
Where possible, please retain the packaging and provide photographs showing:
The packaging
Shipping label
Product received
Any visible damage
This information can help us investigate the matter with the delivery provider.
11. Returns
If you need to return a product, please contact us with your order details and the reason for the return.
Products being returned should be appropriately packaged and protected to prevent damage during transportation.
Returns will be handled according to the circumstances of the order and applicable UK consumer law.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights.

If you believe you have received a faulty, damaged or incorrect part, please contact us promptly so that we can review the issue.

Details of the reported issue
Once we have reviewed the information, we will advise you of the appropriate next steps.
13. Installation of Parts
Vehicle parts should be installed correctly and safely.
Where specialist knowledge, equipment, coding or calibration is required, we recommend that installation is carried out by a suitably qualified mechanic or automotive technician.
Customers should not install or continue using a component where there is reason to believe that doing so may be unsafe.
Incorrect installation, misuse, modification, accidental damage or improper use may be taken into consideration when assessing a product issue.
14. Engines, Gearboxes & Major Components
Engines, gearboxes and other major mechanical components are pre-owned parts unless specifically stated otherwise.
These components are checked or tested where reasonably possible before being offered for sale.
Appropriate servicing and installation procedures should be followed when fitting major mechanical components.
We recommend that engines, gearboxes and similar major components are installed by a suitably qualified automotive professional.
15. Electrical & Electronic Parts
Electrical and electronic vehicle components may require programming, coding, calibration or adaptation to the receiving vehicle.
Customers should check compatibility before purchasing and ensure that any necessary programming or installation is carried out correctly.
16. Warranty

Parts are checked and, where reasonably possible, tested for working condition before being offered for sale.
Unless specifically stated with a particular product or agreed at the time of sale, Pickhill Auto Breakers Ltd does not provide an additional commercial or extended warranty.
Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Refunds
